BIG COW BEEN FORCED INTO ASMALL CAR FOR SALLAH CELEBRATION


While Nigerian Muslims are preparing adequately for the forthcoming Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, a man and his family are getting ready for the festivity in a BIG way (literately). The man who apparently didn’t want to take any chance – was spotted forcing a big cow with the help of others into a small vehicle probably in order to “maximize” transportation.

 This happened in the northern part of the country





KIDNAPPERS APPREHENDED IN MUSHIN



A suspected kidnapper was apprehended inside a tunnel at the Challenge area of Mushin. The irate mob set ablaze one of the suspected kidnappers while two others were rescued by the police from being lynched.According to reports, the tunnel where the kidnapper was found leads to an old company.Also, syringes believed to be used in injecting their victims with sedative drug were discovered in the hideout.


UBER DRIVER NEARLY JUMP INTO LAGOS LAGOON OVER DEBT



A Uber driver identified as Hammed Olojo drove himself to the Third Mainland Bridge in a Uber Toyota Corolla saloon car, belonging to Kalejaiye Oluwaseyi, had written a short note and left it in the car when he was restrained by the officers who monitored him a while before walking up to him.

Questioned by RRS Commander, ACP Tunji Disu on why he contemplated suicide, 
Olojo, an ex – convict, explained that he was owing N10,000 in Court 3, Ikeja High Court and the owner of the vehicle N80,000. He stated that things have been difficult for him and that he had tried all possible means to survive with no success.

Hammed Olojo disclosed that his wife persuaded him from going ahead with his plan but his mind was made up and was fed up of everything. Olojo, had planned to leave behind a short note in Yoruba and translated into English in the car before leaping into the Lagos Lagoon.

The letter read in part “I killed myself because of the challenges I have been facing in life. I tried my best and everything has come to nothing”. The car owners, Kalejaiye who was at RRS office in company of his wife noted that for two weeks, he had not remitted N40,000 per week lease to him yet and he Kalejaiye, has been paying for the service of the car.

He noted that although, he told him to hand over the car last Thursday, at no time did he force him not to drive the car. He noted that he was aware that he had a court case, at no time did he put him under pressure about the car.

In the note which was dated 27th August 2017 and signed by him, Olojo indicated his phone number and the car owner’s number. Confirming the development, Police PRO stated that the case had been
 transferred to State Criminal investigation department for further investigation.

MAN USES HUMAN PARTS TO PREPARE PEPPER SOUP



Roland Peterside who allegedly uses human parts to make pepper soup at Abaripko community in Ahaoda-East Local government area of Rivers state has been arrested by the police in the state. Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Zaki had during his media briefing said Roland Peterside was arrested while allegedly preparing pepper soup with human parts at his restaurant in Abaripko. According to CP Zaki, “The Command arrested one Roland Peter, a member of a notorious gang that kidnapped Pastor Samuel Okpara from Edoha, in Ahaoda who was kidnapped and killed and
beheaded and whose liver and intestine were used for pepper-soup and plantain pottage. They were arrested while preparing their meal.


Meanwhile, speaking with newsmen at the Police Headquarters, forty-seven-year-old Peterside denied the allegation, saying he was arrested for illegal possession of fire arms. Peterside, however, said he is a Pastor and not a cannibal as alleged by the police. “Yes, I have a kitchen where I cook for people to come and eat. It is my religion that permits me to help people. Especially those who are hungry. But this thing that Police is saying that I cook with human parts is a lie. What I use to cook my food is fish. I don’t use human parts. “My wife makes the food and we give anybody that
wants to eat. I am a man of God and also a mechanic. The police arrested me because they claim that cultists use to keep guns in my house which is not true.”

TWO ARRESTED FOR HYNOPTISING, STEALING N120,000 FROM FOOD VENDOR

Two suspected members of syndicate that specialised in hynotising their victims have been nabbed by operatives 
of the Lagos State police for allegedly stealing N120,000 from a food vendor, identified as Rukayat Aderinwale.




The suspects– Sunday Atanda and Fausat Tijani– were arrested by men of the Rapid Response Squad on Saturday, August 26.

According to a statement by the RRS, the suspects, who were arrested in Oshodi, were taking their victim to an unknown location when she regained consciousness and called for help.

The police said, “The syndicate was arrested after a failed bid to swindle a food vendor out of N120,000 and dispossess her of her jewellery in Oshodi.

“The victim was accosted and hypnotised by the five gang members and dispossessed her of a purse containing N120,000, and a mobile phone.

“They were taking her away when the lady regained consciousness and called out to RRS officers stationed nearby.

“The officers arrested Sunday Atanda, and Fausat Tijani, a 58-year-old pure water seller in Akala, Mushin, while three other members of the syndicate escaped.”

Atanda was said to have identified other members of the gang as one Kayode, Shina and Lateef.

The suspect, who claimed to have joined the gang in order to make a living, allegedly told the police that the group wanted to dispossess the mother of three of all valuables when they were arrested.

SENATOR MISAU WANTED FOR FORGERY AND DESERTION BY NIGERIA POLICE




Nigerian Police Force, has said Senator Isah Hamma Misau is being wanted for alleged forgery from the Police Force.
The Police in Nigeria is insisting that Misau who is currently representing Bauchi Central Senatorial
District in the National Assembly is still a Policeman and should not be a Senator.


It was the twist in the financial allegation slammed against the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris by the Senator, who claimed that Idris diverted N10billion income made by the police.According to the police, Misau still exists on the Nigeria Police Force Officers Staff List as AP. No 57300 DSP Mohammed Isa Hamman. His last posting was to Niger State Police Command on the 24 September 2010. The police said the retirement letter which the Senator showed journalists may have been forged.

A former chief intelligence officer of the Boko Haram group, Abdulkadir Abubakar, says two factions of the group are ready for talks with the federal government  Abdulkadir Abubakar, also known as Abu Muhammad, states that Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau, has been the major obstacle to peace since the insurgency began in 2009  


Abu Muhammad expresses willingness to give the military useful information to crush the insurgents and arrest Shekau 

Abubakar Shekau, has left his enclave in Sambisa forest and is currently hiding in Mandara Mountain. 


 Abdulkadir Abubakar, also known as Abu Muhammad, was the chief intelligence officer of the Boko Haram group and one of its top commanders, until his arrest in June by the military in Buni Yadi in Gujba local government area of Yobe state. He said two factions of the group were ready for talks with the federal government 




GOVERNOR FAYOSE BROTHER ESCAPE DEATH







The elder brother of Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State, Otunba Emmanuel Fayose, came out unscathed from an accident he was involved in along Abuja road on his way to Ekiti state. Otunba Fayose was said to have been traveling to witness and celebrate the Udiroko and Chieftaincy title conferred on his brother – the Ekiti state governor; Ayo Fayose on Friday

His younger brother Isaac Fayose who shared the news on Facebook wrote;
In this season of strange occurrence and politically motivated missiles, we thank God for I nearly lost my brother Otunba Emmanuel Fayose in a terrible car crash on the Abuja road coming for the udiroko and chieftaincy title conferred on our brother his excellency Ayo Fayose! We remain prayerful for the Lord is our only protector!

TONY ELUMELU AT THE MAYWEATHER VS MCGREGOR FIGHT



Entrepreneur and Chairman of Heirs Holdings, Tony Elumelu, was among the prolific figures 
who turned up at the T-Mobile Arena to watch Floyd Mayweather claim his 50th victory against
 Conor Mcgregor on Saturday night.
The 54-year-old posted photo and video of himself at the Arena ahead of the fight of the century…

MAYWEATHER BEATS MCGREGOR



























Floyd Mayweather wins it. He has a 50-0 record. It was a brave, brave effort from Conor McGregor, 
but in the end, Mayweather was just too good.

The end comes early in the 10th round. Mayweather attacks again and referee Robert Byrd dives in to save McGregor from any more punishment.
