THE LAZIEST TRAFFIC WARDEN IN UK



Locals in the West London area say the new enforcement officer he staking his job easier and finding the new role taxking.He spent two-hour breaks in sandwich chain Subway and playing on his mobile. instead of dishing out fines.Several times he has been seen resting.





He was also seen leaning against a lamppost to read his handheld ticketing device.Residents say they have also caught him fiddling with his phone in Pimlico, West London, where he is believed to be new.On Tuesday he was in Subway from 3.46pm to 5.39pm.




 He went into the store at 11.34am and left at 12.07pm.He went back at 2.54pm until 4.43pm.A source who caught the warden on camera said: “He’s obviously finding the job taxing.



“It’s not the first time he’s been spotted relaxing — and it’s usually against anything he can lean on.
“The guy walks around a bit checking cars but quickly needs a rest. It’s alright for some.”

The man works for City of Westminster council which last year made a UK-high £55.9million from parking fines.



A spokesman said: “Our marshals are given handheld devices that look similar to a phone.
We can use the devices’ data to regularly monitor their performance.
We take any complaints seriously and will fully investigate the matter.”
